Fine Dining Revisited-pissed off over a conundrum

Back in December I posted about a Korean deli up in one percenter country on Madison Avenue. I was addressing a few concerns that taxi drivers do have: Where can I legally park and find a cup of coffee or tea, a snack or perhaps a meal? And not too expensive, please.

They thought low class people taxi transfers like YT woild park there, maybe take leaks too.

Muhammad Amir commented recently and took it to a whole other level, one that is not often spoken of, the question "where do taxi drivers go to answer the call of nature?"  Cops on the street can go into any restaurant, bar or store and get this problem resolved.  Bus drivers have terminals at the end of their runs. Supposedly there are taxi relief stands located throughout the city where cabbies can park and find relief but these are more myth and an idea than a reality. Frequently these spots are occupied by other vehicles, and most of them are nowhere close to any facility a taxi driver may use. So, as Roger Cohen would say, "it's a conundrum"

Taxi drivers up until now could at least flick on an "Of Duty" switch and thereby infoem prospective passengers that this taxi is for the moment not available, as the driver is looking for a place where he may pee. As taxi boss  David Yassky says, that  is a relic of times gone.

And a conundrum it is, as the pressures of kidneys and bladders collide with Manhattanites demand for instant gratification.
