We are told that "crime" has gone down dramatically since the days of Rudolph Giuliani and I suppose certain types of crime have indeed gone down. Also inarguable is that crime statistics have been manipulated to make the picture rosier than it is. The Mainstream Media give the Bloomberg administration a pass on this record keeping fraud. I will be taking apart the whole criminal syndicate called NYPD and putting public safety into the hands of the public., and out of the hands of alienated young people who can't shoot straight anyway.
Michael Bloomberg does deserve some credit (what??!! Eugene Weixel is about to say something good about Michael Bloomberg??!!) for reducing the number of official kidnappings of supposedly abused and neglected children. He's proven by doing so that all the media panics, pronunciamentos by thugs like Charles Hynes and company who screamed for more and more baby snatching and for the scalps of caseworkers were uncalled for and damaged the lives of countless innocent kids. I remember how much resistance the bureaucracy would put up to me trying to place a child with relatives who actually loved him because he'd have to sleep in the living room or some such nonsense. Here is a boy who was rescued by his aunt. This is what we do need - family and community empowerment for the good of our children and not interference by bureaucrats who don't give a tinker's damn about anyone but themselves..
Thank goodness Bloomberg figured out that this shit was very expensive as well as not necessary. No doubt he called in his friends and people who fear him in the media, academia, and politics and told them to shut the fuck up about abused children, because panics cost money. Kids die in the regular in NYC, sometimes while be3ing monitored by "child protectors" and sometimes while actually in the hands of the child protection racket. What makes a Nixzmary Brown stand out is decisions by the opinion shapers, and Mike no doubt went to the source and straightened this shit out.
So, kidnapping is way down. I hope the media will give me the same courtesy and forbearance on this issue as they are giving to Bloomberg so that I can go about the challenging task of completely dismantling the baby snatch bureaucracy.
Most forms of violent street crime also are down, and many attribute this to the fact that young women are no longer having babies that they do not want and don't believe they can care for. This is of course a national trend and violent street crime is down in almost every jurisdiction in America. Can a politician start a parade about this and get in front? Sure, look at Giuliani. I will do the same thing. When elected mayor I promise that women will not have kids they neither want nor can care for and these unborn will not go on to rob, make mayhem and fill up the jails. I swear to take full credit for the outcome of less street crime.
Really serious crimes are being committed every day, consumer fraud, medical malpractice and maltreatment, managers stealing waitpersons tips, all sorts of violations of ethics. I hope to kick off an "exemplary prosecution" program to get a grip on this unchecked crime wave.
