I have taunted the mayor for the slow past due and scaled back nature of his bike share program. I guess then I should shut up, now that the thing is getting off the ground. Residents of Greenwich Village are suing Citibank for putting a giant bike rack in front of their very expensive apartments and Citibank is backing off somehat. How do I know? I'm expecting serious accidents involving tourist bikers who come from burgs where there are no stop signs or stop lights (like Hoboken NJ not all that long ago) and taxis trying to pick up and drop off and also turn corners.
