Eugene Weixel for Mayor of New York-- a revolutionary campaign worldwide

Moved from my campaign website which is being closed.

I reject abstentionism. The electoral system is corrupt and rigged and it is designed to discourage the 99 percent and especially the "Lucky Duckies" from getting involved with shaping history. The electoral system is hand in glove with the police brutality that at least temporarily squashed the Occupy Wall Street movement. They want us to throw in the towel, to give up, to accept more and more of less and less.

And so why would a penniless taxi driver decide to run for mayor of the city that while it is no longer the biggest, still captures the imaginations of people all over the world with its diversity and its plethora of attractions? And on top of that why would this taxi driver proclaim "I do not want any campaign contributions" and "I will not register as a candidate but will run as a write in" and "I want and need your support worldwide"?

Because I, Eugene Weixel, intend to subvert this system of one percenter rule and grand larceny.I want to see campaigns like mine sprout all over the world - campaigns that refuse to run away from the real issues which revolve around one percenter grand larceny worldwide.

During the  presidential race recently finished there were good reasons to support Obama, or rather and more correctly to oppose in the only effective way the candidate of bigotry the Mormon what;s his name....

There is no open outward viable candidate for mayor of New York who is a leader of a racist church, who opposes gay rights, who espouses openly bigotry. The differences among the "viables" are of style and not much of that either. The all intend to balance the budget of the city on the backs of the 99 percent. It's a matter of degree perhaps that they differ in what they intend to cut and how quickly. Wall Street will be calling the shots no matter which twiddle dum dum dee gets in.

Rents will soar as the world's rich ho;d more and more apartments they leave empty most of the year. Rents will soar as no affordable housing gets built to replace hat gets dilapidated and obsolete.

The children of the 99 percent will continue to sit in classrooms that are not safe to breath in- as PCBs are too expensive for the the percent to pay taxes to remove right now. All candidates downplay this issue and some flat out ignore it. Our kids are being put at risk of brain damage and cancer and the toll has been going on in uncounted and uncountable numbers sine World War Two. Wen don't know how many people nor to what extent we've had our brains stunted, how many cases of cancer have been caused, we only know these are realities and the irresponsibility will continue with whichever corporate candidate gets elected. Do you want to be "realistic" and pick one of these who down't care about our kids in their classrooms being exposed to poison?

Let's for this time show them how we reject their game entirely, not by staying home but by saying "go to hell" to the system in writing in the name "Eugene Weixel." - I do not want our money, I want your moral support wherever you are and I want you to emulate this campaign.
