Slashdot speculates that Google bought Uber for their app and it fits into Google's plans to have their driverless car on the market within 4 years.
Surely Google wasn't in the market for a limo service that has a not good reputation and doesn't even own its limos.
Working people from taxi drivers to attorneys to maids to engineers face being replaced by technologies of differing sorts. A small and shrinking clique will own everything and everyone else can go drop dead.
