They say these rides worth under $25 will be free for a two week period. I think these rides are free at all times and for all distances. Lyft is not a licensed taxi or livery service. Lyft represents a voluntary arrangement. The driver volunteers to give a ride. No law says that the driver is owed anything at the end of any ride.
