Could be a medicinal miracle plant for prostate problems and bronchitis.

I do not remember the name of this plant nor exactly where it was. It was some kind of national park up in the Andes past Merida. This plant  was all over the place most of it behind fences and barbed wire, We bought a couple of bottles of extract of both parts. It supposedly helps on prostate and liver problems and bronchitis and pulmonary problems. Not far from an observatory that had a few big telescopes.
