Too bad it was just for one day without a lot of notice. I hope it went well and gets repeated on a broad scale and the New York Taxi Association and Committee For Taxi Safety get involved next time.
Even with Obamacare we still don't live in a country where everyone gets healthcare as a matter of right like in Costa Rica, Cuba and Canada. Maybe the City Government can take the six cents per trip they ulawfully confiscated from the drivers for six months and start a regilar comprehensive program.
