Some things about WBAI annoy me. So what!?
WBAI is the grandaddy of community based radio in the US. It is a very important voice for progressive movements, carries such cutting edge people as Chuck D who just got into the Rock n Roll Hall of fame.
WBAI gives us news we are not likely to find anywhere else on the radio dial, has supported Occupy Wall Street, gives voice to labor organizers, often has great music. The staff is tireless and at the moment unpaid. This is a situation that cannot go on. It's time to pitch in.
