#USHouseofrepresentqtives - for cutting out food stamps completely from the annual Agriculture bill. Food stamps not only help millions of poor people keep body and soul together, they help enrich farm owners who more often than not have voted Republican and are being punished by their wn co thinkers.

I've ften expressed respect for Norman Finkelstein because he has bravely put forth very controversial facts and opinions regarding Israel and Judaism particularly as it is practiced today. He's taken quite a beating from among others and prominently Alan Dershowitz, who got Finkelstein who apparently, poor f\guy, is really struggling financially, fired form a professorship at "DePaul University. Pretty severe stuff and they don't have anything nice to say about each other. BUT in fact they have quite alot of agreement and it's time, maybe for people who do have sympathy for Mr. Finkelstein to understand that he just is not the guy to count on for opposing the apartheid system in the land dominated by the State of Israel. This here is a good read about it. In case you don't know I am Jewish (in my own peculiar way) and I do not beleive that the State of Israel is a good thing. So, now, go read this stuff here:
